“I recently had my Audi S3 rear alloy wheel repaired at Alloy Wheel Repair (Grey Lynn), and I am extremely impressed with the service and workmanship. Communication was clear and professional throughout. The quality of the repair exceeded my expectations — the wheel looks factory-finished again, with the diamond-cut surface restored perfectly.”

★★★★★

“Massive shout-out to Alloy Wheel Repair — genuinely couldn’t be happier with the result. I took in a set of old RX-7 rims that were well past their best, and they came back looking absolutely unreal. Fully re-barrelled, painted, and polished to a super high standard — they honestly look brand new.”

★★★★★

“Took my car out to the track and my wheels got covered in dust, which got baked in with the colour of the wheels due to heat. Impossible to remove. Alloy Wheel Repair came in clutch with a higher temp tolerance powder coat for my wheels and I couldn’t be happier. Quality service and workmanship.”

How much does alloy wheel repair cost in Auckland?

Alloy wheel repair at AWR starts from $200 + GST per wheel for standard kerb and scuff repairs. The exact price depends on the size of the wheel, the extent of the damage, and the finish required. Send us a photo and we'll give you an exact, upfront price — no surprises.

How long does a wheel repair take?

Every wheel is assessed before work begins. We’ll explain the repair, confirm the price and give you a clear expected timeframe — with no shortcuts. Loan wheels and loan vehicles may be available to help keep you moving while your repair is completed properly.

Can a bent or cracked alloy wheel be repaired?

In most cases, yes. We use hydraulic straightening presses to restore bent and buckled wheels to factory spec, and TIG welding to structurally repair cracked or split wheels. Every repaired wheel is inspected and tested before it leaves our workshop. If a wheel is beyond safe repair, we'll tell you honestly.

Will the repaired wheel match my other wheels?

Yes. We use OEM paint codes and a factory-correct colour matching system to ensure your repaired wheel is indistinguishable from the others. For diamond-cut wheels, our CNC lathe restores the original machined face to the exact factory specification. The result is a match — not a close approximation.
