Mag wheels (short for magnesium alloy) is the everyday New Zealand term for any cast or forged alloy wheel — aluminium, magnesium, or a blend of both. They're lighter than steel, better for handling, and a key part of how your car looks.
When they get damaged — kerb rash, corrosion, bends or cracks — the repair needs to match the original factory process. That's what we do. Our Grey Lynn workshop runs the same equipment used by OEM manufacturers: a CNC lathe for diamond-cut faces, a powder coating oven for colour finishes, and a TIG welder for structural repairs.
We work on every brand and finish type — painted, powder coated, diamond cut, chrome, two-tone. If it came from the factory, we can restore it. Also need tyres fitted? We supply, fit, and balance while your wheels are in the workshop.
