Our Grey Lynn workshop has been refinishing alloy wheels to factory standard for years. That same equipment — the powder coat ovens, the blast cabinet, the OEM paint system — works on any metal object. We take on custom projects when the work suits our process.
Colour changes, full refinishes, or custom finishes on any safe — from compact pistol boxes to full-height gun safes. Gloss, matte, or textured powder coat.
Frames, swingarms, forks, calipers, engine covers — we strip, prep, and refinish motorcycle components to the same standard as our wheel work.
Bumper brackets, subframes, control arms, roll cages — bare metal or previously painted. We blast, prime, and powder coat for a durable finish.
Steel gates, garden furniture, shelving, and architectural metalwork. If it fits in the blast cabinet and the oven, we can finish it.

A customer wanted their gun safe to be a statement piece, not a grey box in the corner. We stripped the factory finish, applied a deep gloss purple powder coat, and finished the hardware in satin gold. AWR Custom Work
Yes. Our powder coating oven and equipment handle any metal object — safes, motorcycle frames and parts, car subframes and suspension components, gates, furniture, and industrial parts. If it’s metal and fits in our oven, we can coat it. Send us a photo and dimensions for a quote.
Custom powder coating pricing depends on the size, complexity, and surface preparation required. A single motorcycle part or small component typically starts from $150 + GST. Larger items like safes or full motorcycle frames are priced individually. We provide free, fixed-price quotes — send us a photo and we’ll get back to you within 2 hours.
We have access to thousands of RAL and custom powder coat colours, including gloss, satin, matte, metallic, and textured finishes. We can also colour-match to an existing item or brand specification. Kerbed & Scuffed Wheels
Scuffs, kerb rash, and gouges repaired and refinished to factory standard. Most repairs completed in 2–3 days.
Bent & Cracked Wheels
Structural repairs for bent, buckled, and cracked alloy wheels using CNC lathes and TIG welding. Safety-tested before return.
